About
-
I was born in Mission Viejo by James Wilson Henrie, a producer formerly in real estate and Linda Finocchiaro, a talent manager , and moved to Arizona when I was two. By age five, I was doing local print and commercials. When I was 9 years old, at a regional commercial shoot, this New York director pulled my mom aside and told me that he really believes I had "what it takes" and should go to Hollywood. That's all it took for my Mom to hear because that summer, at age 10, we packed up and headed f...or California! As fate would have it, I booked my very first audition for Burger King, and just so that no one could say it was beginners luck, I booked my very second audition for Quaker Oats. My mom was sold, and for the next two years I studied at prominent acting schools in Los Angeles in scene study, improvisation, theater and cold reading, while I was auditioning and booking roles, and not to mention playing elite travel ice-hockey.
When I was about 12 years old, I landed my first series playing Pete Pitt, for FOX, produced by Mike Scully from the Simpsons. It was short lived, but the show was ahead of its time. I rolled right into another series for FOX called Method and Red and then into yet another series, How I Met Your Mother. Being tied up on television, didn't leave much room for feature film offers that conflicted with my schedule, but it did lay an awesome foundation to explore a variety of complex characters such as: the role in Cold Case as a disturbed teen from the sixties, who resulted to murder in order to escape the pressures of his father, or the sociopathic, gun-obsessed boy, who shot and killed his father without remorse. Other types of roles included: the school bully, suspect from al-QaidaAlal/FBI investigation, teenage super spy, son in search for the lost treasure in the rainforest, alla Indiana Jones, Charlie Chaplin, Dr. Frankenstein, alla Gene Wilder, etc. And I can never forget the episode on Without A Trace. It was the very first episode that launched this successful show, and playing the role of Gabe, (the very first person who gets lost on WAT!), after losing his dad on a subway in New York City, was an amazing experience. Other episodics include, House, NCIS, Jack & Bobby, Providence, Judging Amy, to mention some, and comedies such as That's So Raven, the Muppets, and now starring on my own Emmy award winning show, Wizards of Waverly Place.
From gun shooting to fight scenes, dramatic to whacky comedy, I have been blessed to play out a strong, variety of characters in a short, 10 year time span of my career in Hollywood. For the past few years I've added writing, producing, and directing to my credits, and my first script was recently shot on Wizards of Waverly Place. I can proudly say I am a member of the WGA! I feel as a young person who has his whole life of show business ahead of him, it is important to learn as much as possible on all fronts. My production company called, YUTE (fyi; that comes from the feature film My Cousin Vinnie when Joe Pesci. in the court scene, refers to the "youth" as "yutes"- haha) is set to take off soon, as I continue to write, star-in, and direct several web-series as well as feature films. The way I see it, I have only just begun to paint on a very large white canvas, and what is yet to come in my long acting life, will hopefully result in an amazing colorful masterpiece.
For those of you who don't know me, I welcome you to explore the site and check out some of my work. Currently, I am in talks with major studios and film makers and I can't wait for things to come. For the fans who have followed my career, I want to say thank you very much and I look forward to entertaining you for years to come.
I owe my parents one-hundred percent of my success; without their support and willingness to make their son's dreams come true I never would have come to California. They sacrificed a lot more then anyone will ever know for me. I also owe a lot to my brother Lorenzo, who will be a huge star some day. And I owe it to the New York director, who told my mom that he saw talent in me. If your out there, call me! I owe you a dinner at Mastros!

“Unlike all the other art forms, film is able to seize and render the passage of time, to stop it, almost to possess it in infinity. I’d say that film is the sculpting of time.”
